All-on-6 replaces a whole arch of missing or failing teeth with a fixed bridge supported by six dental implants. Like All-on-4, it gives you teeth that stay in place rather than a denture you take out. The difference is the number of supports: six implants can distribute your bite across a wider foundation, which is sometimes the more predictable choice depending on your bone and how your final teeth are planned.

Four implants or six?
There is no default answer. The number of implants is decided from your CBCT scan, the amount and quality of your bone, your bite, and the bridge being planned. In some arches, six implants let the load be shared more evenly or make use of bone in specific positions; in others, four is entirely sufficient and simpler. You will see the reasoning for your own case in a written plan before anything is booked — including where All-on-4, bone grafting or a staged approach might serve you better.
Why plan it in a hospital
Replacing a full arch often means removing remaining teeth, managing bone and placing several implants in one surgical session. If you have a health condition — diabetes, a heart condition, or you take blood thinners — those factors are reviewed alongside the dental plan before anything is confirmed. If dental anxiety or the length of the procedure calls for it, IV sedation or general anesthesia can be assessed and delivered with the hospital anesthesia team, for suitable cases.
Nothing is booked until you have seen your CBCT-based plan and understood the stages, the timing and the fees.

What the treatment involves
Assessment & CBCT imaging
A full examination and 3D scan map your bone, nerves and sinuses so six implant positions can be planned around your anatomy and your intended final teeth.
Written plan & anesthesia decision
You receive a staged plan with timing, fees and the anesthesia option that suits your case — local, IV sedation or, for selected patients, general anesthesia.
Surgery & fixed provisional teeth
Any remaining teeth are removed as planned and six implants are placed. In suitable cases a fixed provisional bridge can be fitted during the healing phase.
Healing & final bridge
Once the implants have integrated, your final full-arch bridge is fitted and your bite is refined.
